I really should try to blog about things when they actually happen, but c'est la vie.
So last year I got involved with Consumed in Poulsbo, and there was a plan made to do a full day of concerts in a mini music festival type of format.

Here's a peek at the venue during soundcheck/setup, more pictures after the jump.
So, first things first, had to get stuff all set for things to happen, so we'll start with that. As always, click an image for the full size (especially the darker ones, they are much easier to see when they're not tiny).
Started prepping gear and the venue on Friday night (7/30)
Piles of sound gear and lighting equipment
Hurray for piles of lights!
Recording interfaces
EQ's, amplifiers, and whatnot oh my!
Starting to get things set up for our preliminary equipment tests
Soundboard view down to the stage
Lighting board, yes, very basic this year.
Josh getting lighting trees positioned
Blurry, but clearing up after doing a full band test Friday night
Saturday Morning (7/31)
Getting ready in the morning, doing a pre-show meeting with the bands
Our sweet parachute canopy. Got to keep the sun off the stage!
Josh and I getting things connected up in the soundbooth
Quiet by Ten doing a bit of soundcheck & staging.
More fun in the soundbooth
People everywhere! Mostly getting gear stowed, and getting the back-lining done on stage
And a bit more of the same
The New Divide doing a bit of soundcheck
During soundcheck, getting the recording stuff set up as well
Mikey Moore starting off the day with an acoustic set
The Calvary worship team. I think they were calling themselves "The Upstaged" and playing a rock 'n roll set.
The other part of the band
some sort of crazed rock gesturing
Redeem the Exile bringing a bit of hollerin' to their rock n' roll
Bringing some intensity to the forest
I think this is just a cool shot of how rockin' in the forest the venue actually is. Also, our stage-ninja Paul.
Might not be obvious, but playing in the middle of the day in the summer is hard work.
We even had a bit of serious discussion time with Daniel Williams
Jeremy of Quiet by Ten kicking things off in the evening
Duct tape solves everything, and vintage drums are cool
I realize that most of the upcoming are somewhat dark, but it was dark out, and I was busy running sound. I have no idea who had my camera at this point. ha!
Friday at the Lake. These guys have enough energy for ten bands, seriously
Tom from Friday at the Lake
Julian of FATL bringing the rumble
stage view
Drums look cool in lights
Steve and Andy of The New Divide bringing the show to a close
